I am pleased to be working with a market-leading manufacturing client who are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their fast-paced operation! The role they are recruiting for is a full-time, permanent position and is located in Skelmersdale.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing clients to deliver exceptional customer service, receiving and booking in client orders, instructions and materials. They will be required to communicate regularly with clients to keep them fully up to date on all elements of their orders, and to ensure client needs have been correctly understood by all departments within the business. Please note, this is not a call centre position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to existing clients, promptly replying and responding to client enquiries, resolving issues when necessary
  • Work closely with other departments of the business, including Sales and Quality, to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
  • Ensure client orders, quotes and time estimates are as accurate as possible
  • Maintain an accurate record of all activity, including client contact and orders input into the system
  • Ensure sales invoices are raised promptly 
  • Work towards weekly/monthly KPIs, ensuring these are met consistently

Specification:

  • Previous Customer Service experience is essential
  • Previous experience working within B2B Customer Service would be beneficial
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel
  • Experience in SQL Reporting would be beneficial 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A positive, outgoing attitude with the willingness to learn in a new environment
