Handyman/Caretaker/Security/Cleaner

Salary: £20,000 per annum (plus accommodation of a one bedroom ground floor flat).

Hours: An average of 40 hours per week.

The job role is to provide the highest level of personalised customer care and service to all residents in line with the agreed service standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security and be a visible presence on site offering support to the tenants and
  • Provide a high standard of service to the site and our
  • Ensure the development and common areas are professionally cleaned, well presented, and maintained.
  • Daily tasks will include cleaning dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, leaf clearing and vacuuming of communal areas.
  • If required, disposal of rubbish in the designated rubbish collection
  • If required, to clean the low level external and internal windows of the main lobbies
  • Clean car park area daily including jet washing the
  • Ensure the hallways are clear from any items
  • Ensure that all health and safety risks are identified and report any accidents, trips, spills, hazards
  • If required to carry out painting and redecoration of the wall and stairwells of the common parts
  • To carry out weekly and monthly heath and safety tests
  • Front entrances, passageways kept clean at all
  • To carry out deep cleaning as and when
  • Report any maintenance issues that may arise to the Line
  • Ensure all footpaths and communal areas are kept clean and free of
  • Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage equipment is consistently
  • Work in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of the residential property sector, having worked in a similar role previously.
  • Security background
  • Sound knowledge of building fabrics and maintenance
  • Confident, an articulate communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people across different levels and show assertiveness when required to get work completed.
  • Charismatic, with the flair to learn new skills and enhance self-development and better those around you.
  • Ability to work alone in a proactive and considerate manner.
