The hotel has a rosette level restaurant and is host to many functions throughout busy seasons. Due to the location of the hotel, the successful candidate will need access to their own transport, or the hotel does offer a live-in position.
The duties and responsibilities of the Food and Beverage Assistant are:
- Greeting guests warmly and providing personalized service throughout their dining experience.
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and beverage selections.
- Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to our high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assisting in the service at the many functions the hotel hosts.
- Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate the smooth flow of service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, service stations, and restrooms.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering excellence in every aspect of service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A strong personality, and good teamwork skills.
Salary: up to 13 per hour, dependant on experience
