R&D Engineer

A new R&D role has arisen for a global leader in Process Manufacturing. The business specialise in bespoke machinery for a number of different industries, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for their clients.

As an R&D Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of next-generation machinery and equipment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, test and prototype solutions that push the boundaries of technology.

 

Responsibilities of an R&D Engineer:

  • Conducting research to identify emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Designing and developing prototypes using CAD software and other tools.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate new technologies into existing products.
  • Conducting performance tests and analysing data to optimise machinery efficiency.
  • To provide technical support for live development projects , driving concepts and solutions to final product launch
  • Produce and execute thorough test plans
  • Working collaboratively with other internal teams to create concept and detailed technical solutions

 

Requirements of an R&D Engineer:

  • A qualification in Engineering (Degree/HNC/HND)
  • Proven experience in research and development within a manufacturing environment (at least 2 years)
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD Software
  • Strong analytical and Problem solving skills
