HRGO is recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Health Safety and Environmental Manager (HSE Manager) for our client in Southport. You will be working for a growing business, supporting them in producing high quality products while maintaining a health and safety conscious work environment. Our client is committed to excellence in all aspects of its operations, of which the HSE Manager will play a key part.

Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Southport

Pay: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with current legislation across all sites
  • Deliver and improve HSE standards, procedures and policies required by ISO
  • Maintaining accurate and reliable health & safety records
  • Carry out regular inspections and risk assessments
  • Assist with training programmes for employees
  • Generate monthly reports to show performance for each site
  • Ensure environmental legislative requirements are met
  • Take ownership of Risk Management Approach to each process flow and all activities in all departments

Requirements

  • Experience working in a HSE role in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Strong knowledge of ISO
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
