As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Technical Compliance Manager to join their business.Reporting into the Head of Technical, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Food or Fresh Produce professional looking for their role upwards to join a well-respected food manufacturing company that supplies premium products to a number of retailers.* Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System, focusing on simplification and customer alignment.* Collaborate closely with the Site Management Team to uphold the AA+ un-announced BRC Certification and Soil Association Organic Certification.* Drive the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Controlled Document System, ensuring compliance with customer certification criteria and legal obligations.* Oversee all third-party Food Safety Audits on site.* Develop and mentor key personnel in Food Safety Management responsibilities, ensuring seamless continuity and appropriate delegation.* Lead, manage, and participate in the Internal audit program, implementing continuous improvement initiatives from audit recommendations.* Spearhead the development of HACCP & TACCP processes and teams.* Manage mass balance and traceability on site, enhancing the team's capabilities in this area.* Keep the business updated on the latest food safety legislation and standards.* Develop and monitor Leading & Lagging KPIs in collaboration with the Site Management Team.* Provide support for food safety and quality management system auditing at selected third-party pack sites.* Act as the Site Lead on Pest Management.* Actively support site hygiene management systems, ensuring effective chemical usage, cleaning methods, and validation processes.If you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information.
