The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Machine Operator to join our client in St Helens on a full time permanent basis.Our client is a well known manufacturing business who are looking to recruit for additional skilled operators to join them in the production areas.Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)Shift Rota:12 hour shift pattern 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:003/4 shift per week rotating between days / nights and weekendsThis rota includes a 7 day break every month and a 20 day break every 3 monthsThe Role:

  • To carry out first line maintenance
  • Ensure smooth running of the production lines
  • Tooling, setting, product changeovers to plan.
  • Material movement and control.
  • Problem solving
  • Process documentation
  • Manage Asset Care to plan.

Key SkillsAbility to assess risk and work safely.Ability to work to company procedures.Ability to work as part of a team.Positive attitude with a desire to develop and progress.A desire to meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of quality of product.Attention to detail.Continuous improvement desire.Problem solving ability.The ideal candidate will have experience in first line maintenance, tool / machine setting.Qualifications:

  • GCSE.
