Job Title: Senior Site Manager
Company: Leading international main contractor
Location: Stanmore, North West London
Project: New build education projects (two schools: 40m and 50m)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the construction activities on-site for the new build schools.
- Ensure that the projects are delivered within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Report progress, issues, and concerns to the Project Manager.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, including engineers, supervisors, and laborers.
- Implement health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Background in delivering education projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
