Our client are looking for an Engineer to start asap for an ongoing temporary booking to cover the Hertfordshire area
They are looking for a candidate who has a mechanical background and who can problem solve, fix mechanical issues and carry out servicing on pumps etc.
Duties include but are not limited to.
- Conduct mechanical tasks such as installing, maintaining, repairing site plant equipment, fault finding
- Travelling to and from Client sites to install on-site plant equipment such as pumps, pipework, ventilation equipment.
- Assisting with in depth equipment inspections
- Prepare, submit generic work, and progress reports / inspection reportsÂ
- Test and Inspection of Safety Equipment (valves and instruments)
- Purging of gas equipment, plant, and equipment (full training will be provided)
- Assisting Project Managers with large on-going projects
- Large site supervision to include supervising on site activities.
- Site Supervision to include Health and Safety Management, site documentation, manage daily paperwork, toolbox talks, induction registers and all associated paperwork. ï‚· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Management of sub-contractors
- Maintaining a safe and clean siteÂ
You will be provided with a Company van and fuel for travel to and from work and during business day.
To be considered for this position you must have a full clean driving licence.
