We have an exceptional job opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator/Programmer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Stoke-on-Trent!
Our client specialises in engineering with a remarkable legacy of over 25 years in the industry along with working with some of the leading brands in the UK.
You’ll have the chance to be part of a dynamic, market leading team that specialises in electro-mechanical and electronic services across the UK. The company are dedicated to providing exceptional emergency and scheduled engineering support to various factory / industrial sectors.
This a Full-Time, Permanent role!
What you’ll be doing
- Operate and program CNC turning machines to manufacture precision parts
- Interpret engineering drawings accurately to meet product specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure quality and accuracy of parts
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to maintain high-quality standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Hours
Monday–Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm
Pay
£32,500 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
- Experience operating CNC Turning machines (Lathes) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Mastercam or Solidworks.
- Strong mechanical skills
- Fundamental skills in measurements and calculations
- Prior experience with Fanuc controls in programming and setting
- Experience working with metals and plastics would be an advantage
