Trainee CNC Operative

Quest Employment is currently recruiting for a Trainee CNC Operative on behalf of our client, a reputable manufacturer of timber components based in ST4. Excellent opportunity to learn and use computer technology, CAD and modern programming software in the manufacturing of bespoke timber products.

Job Title: Trainee CNC Operative

Shifts: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm

(flexibility required to meet the business needs)

Salary: NMW (age dependant)

General Duties:

• Loading CNC machine and semi-automatic machinery - training will be given.
• Changing machine programmes.
• Changing fixtures and jigs over.
• CAD and CAM associated with the role.
• Organising work area.
• Associated duties involved in the production of CNC components.
• Timber preparation
• Meeting daily production targets.
• Achieving required quality standards.
• Working in a safe manner.
