KPI Recruiting are a leading recruitment agency, with a national coverage of roles in various different sectors and we are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Team at our KPI Recruiting Headquarters, Stoke-on-Trent, focusing on compliance for our Education Recruitment Team.

We are ideally looking for someone who has a customer service advisor/administration background as the role involves being comfortable being on the phone to candidates and using different IT packages to complete relevant checks.

What will day to day duties include?  

  • Managing applications from job boards
  • Finding candidates using job boards and through social media
  • Completing through pre-screening calls with candidates
  • Work with the experienced consultants to plan and meet the future recruitment requirements of our clients within our Education Division.
  • Answering phone calls, and transferring calls as required to the relevant team member.
  • Emailing online registration forms to candidates for completion or arranging face to face registrations
  • Ensuring right to work checks are completed and in line with government guidelines
  • Conducting DBS Check applications for candidates being placed in to work, and also using the update service to check any DBS’s that are already active
  • Sending reference requests and chasing up references as and when required
  • Organising the office diary and paperwork
  • Supporting all social media channels and activities.
  • Administration duties as and when required

  • Experience of working within customer focused roles
  • Understanding of compliance regulations is desired
  • Ability to manage your own time
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Active problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident working to deadlines
  • Enjoys working within a team and in a busy environment
  • Strong level of IT, administrative and organisational skills 
  • Great telephone manner 
  • Driving license is preferred
