About the Role:
Amid recent structural changes and continuous expansion, we seek an experienced Bid Writer to join our newly appointed Bid Management Function. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression as we embark on an impressive growth path. The role offers a hybrid working model, including remote work with occasional visits to company offices and/or customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling content for winning tender responses, supporting the entire process from cradle to grave.
- Ensure bids/proposals align with company governance requirements and support the Bid Manager in process development and improvement.
- Implement bid/capture plans, schedules, and contribute actively to multi-disciplinary bid/proposal teams.
- Maintain accurate reporting of Bid/Proposal data within the CRM system.
- Travel as needed to support Bid Writer activities, attend bid reviews, and participate in team/customer meetings.
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
- Previous Bid Writing experience in the military/defence and aerospace industry (advantageous)
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Confident self-starter, able to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to support business needs
