Legionella Risk Assessor - Swansea

Hospo Talent are recruiting a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our clients team based in Swansea, UK.

This is a full-time, permanent position. This role will require travel to sites in South Wales.

Our client is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environment services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake site surveys to produce Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with;

o o ACoP L8

o o HSG 274

o o HTM:04 01

o o Water Regulations

o o BS 8580

Generate associated detailed end reports including recommendations for remedial action, site specific control schemes, management plans and schematic drawings

Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients

Be prepared to assist on our Water Hygiene related tasks i.e. monitoring and maintenance

Undertake inspections using the appropriate electronic devices or relevant paperwork

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

City & Guilds or similar third party accredited Legionella control training

Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures

Demonstrate proficiency in basic IT applications- MS Word, Excel

Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8,HTM: 0401, Water Regulations, BS 8580)

Full UK Driving License

Desirable:

Demonstrate previous 6 months experience in a similar role

Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services

Demonstrate experience of mechanical maintenance & repairs works e.g. plumbing/engineering
