Social Housing Contractor looking for a Carpenter to join the Repairs Team, covering South West London.
The successful candidate will be carrying out reactive maintenance repairs in occupied properties.
This is a mobile role and therefore a full UK Driving Licence will be required. The client will provide a Van, Fuel Card, and uniform to complete your duties.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks in occupied residential properties.
- Address issues promptly and efficiently to ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, basic plumbing and general building repairs or electrical as required and qualified to undertake.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors and tenants to complete tasks within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multi trade operative, ideally within social housing or property maintenance
- Good customer service skills and positive attitude
- Must be certified in at least one main trade and have the ability to carry out secondary trades to a high standard.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving license.
