Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Shift Supervisor for a successful Tier 1 Automotive company, and the role comes with an attractive salary of over £48K and benefits package.
The company is a fast moving supplier of car components utilising specialist process equipment, robot transfer and assembly equipment as well as CNC machining
Supervising £30 – 35 people on shift, as Shift Supervisor you will carryout the following.
- Supervising 30 - 35 people ensuring effect man management to ensure SOP’s and internal procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
- Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand
- Guarantee a safe working environment
- Improve production processes and lead improvement teams
- Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions
To fulfil the Shift Supervisor role your expertise and experience should include:
- Tier 1 Automotive highly advantageous
- General manufacturing experience is required
- Production Supervisor or Production Manager level experience essential
- Experience working in automated factories with understanding of CNC machining and robot transfer cells is highly advantageous
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S is essential
- HNC or general mechanical engineering understanding is desirable
In current or previous roles you may have worked as Shift Manager, Cell Leader, Production Manager, Production Supervisor
