Position: Bartender Hours: 30 - 35 hours per week
At Thirsk Lodge Barns, we specialise in crafting magical moments for couples on their special day. Nestled in rural countryside approximately 1 mile from the historic market town of Thirsk, our venue exudes elegance and charm, providing the perfect backdrop for weddings and celebrations.
Job Description: As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and efficient service at the bar
- Mixing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
- Assisting with setup and breakdown of events
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless experiences for our guests
- Due to the rural location of the venue, there are no public transport links so it is preferable that the successful candidate can drive
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
