Senior Operations Manager
We are recruiting for a global multi aware winning organisation who are seeking a Senior Operations Manager on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, with a can-do and flexible attitude to join a team in a new production facility based near Thirsk.
 

What you can expect:

  • £55'000 per annum

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of UK Manufacturing
  • Direct and manage the day-to-day activities through effective management of direct reports, managers and external key stakeholders
  • Responsible for implementing strategies, managing resources, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence
  • Delegate responsibilities of supply chain & logistics, facility management and financial responsibilities
  • Assist as required to support Group operations to ensure goals are met
  • Promote and adhere to the company values of quality and compliance inline with current legislation
  • To empower and lead the team through strong clear and open collaboration, being focused and committed, learning together and teamwork

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in managing production/manufacturing operations
  • Computer literate with experienced in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven Leadership experience (5 years +)
  • Extensive operational experience (5 years +)
  • Management qualification – degree or ILM Level 5 preferred
  • Project Management qualification – (PRINCE2, APM or equivalent) preferred
  • Technical knowledge and understanding within the medical training/products industry desirable
  • Thrives in a transformational environment, emerging business, building best-in-class processes
  • Ability to interact, challenge and communicate effectively with team members at all levels within the organisation
  • Strong knowledge of functional department related principles, practices, and procedures
