Responsibilities:
- Assisting Accountant with preparation of accounts for various clients
- Managing bookkeeping function from instigation to trial balance level
- Preparing sales, purchase, and nominal ledger records on computer system
- Calculating and preparing VAT returns for clients
- Completing online submissions and investigating anomalies

If you are at the start of your career in accountancy and would like to join a small, very successful Practice then this Bookkeeper role is perfect for you.

Some of your duties will include:

- Assisting Accountant with the preparation of accounts on behalf of a wide range clients

- Working on behalf of small businesses, sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies

- Managing bookkeeping function from instigation stage through to trial balance level

- Preparing sales, purchase and nominal ledger records on computer system

- Producing cash book records, reconciling bank statements and investigating anomalies

- Calculating and preparing VAT returns for clients and completing online submissions
