  • You will be leading a team undertaking advanced modelling and analysis to produce precision designs and concepts on CAD, creating 3D engineering drawings with accurate GD&T specifications suitable for aircraft.
  • Your components and sub-assemblies are used in a highly complex mechanism to save lives, so precision and accuracy are crucial, using the best materials and made to tight tolerances.
  • Minimum requirement is a BSc in engineering or physics, preferably Chartered, with substantial commercial mechanical design experience, ideally using ANSYS, Siemens NX, or other 3D CAD systems and Teamcenter.
  • An advanced knowledge of stress and fracture analysis within a safety critical or aerospace engineering environment is important for this role.
  • Knowledge of precision CNC machining and modern manufacturing methods will be highly beneficial. Salary and years of experience required are not specified in the job description.
