AssistantAccountantWakefield - Permanent - Office Based Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a thriving business based in Wakefield as they look to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will be assisting with a variety of tasks across transactional finance including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliation, multi-currency payments, through to month end/management accounts preparation.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing multiple bank accounts daily
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month end close processes
- Sales / purchase ledger management
- Processing expenses
- Producing weekly payment runs
- Posting of credit card statements/ supplier invoices
Key candidate requirements:
- Previous experience within a finance role
- AAT Qualified (preferred, not essential)
- Excellent Excel skills
