Youth Worker - Wakefield Do you have experience working with children/young people with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) difficulties? Prospero Teaching are looking for committed individuals for an SEN School in Wakefield. The role is to start ASAP. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Wakefield Position Youth Worker Full time/Part-time Full Time Hours 08:30 3:30 The Minimum Rate of Pay GBP85 per day. EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in a school or similar setting. Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Experience of effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn. Experience of using restorative practices TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent. Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH. Commitment to all CPD offered.
