We are looking for a proactive and driven field-based Business Development Executive with a successful commercial sales background, hazardous waste experience and, ideally, chemistry-based qualification to join the vibrant hazardous waste division at our modern head office in Benson, South Oxfordshire. Are you up for the challenge as we go from strength to strength? We are offering a permanent full-time contract with a starting basic annual salary of up to circa £42,000 plus sales commission structure, along with a host of other benefits, including:

- 30 days’ annual leave (inclusive of 8 bank holidays), which will increase with service, plus the option to buy up to 5 extra days' holiday

What you’ll be doing as our Business Development Executive
With the focus on both revenue and profit generation, you will be responsible for the management and retention of existing business and delivery of new hazardous waste services sales growth within the Grundon operating area of southern England. Your remit will include:
- Developing relationships with existing customers and other Grundon sales teams.
- Identifying and establishing new customers from a diverse range of sectors, including promoting the Industrial Services arm of the business.
- Managing and gathering information on all sales enquiries in a manner that fully satisfies the requirements of pre-acceptance.
- Assessing potential jobs, including on site visits, to ensure full compliance/waste data/accurate chemical inventories are obtained for accurate quoting.
- Carrying out duty of care visits for customers at Grundon and/or third-party waste disposal facilities.

What we're looking for in our Business Development Executive
- Ability to both account-manage and develop new business.
- Confident communicator and good listener.
- Comfortable selling to all levels, from board room to shop floor, and adept at adjusting sales accordingly.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence

Working hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5pm
