Description

The Trainee Accounts Assistant will cover the following:

Daily cashbook reconciliations for all currencies. Including but not limited to loading payment files, customer receipting, banking cheques.

Management of Time at Work process, Including but not limited to, Group time booking, time transfers, closing jobs, monthly rate adjustments, new employees.

Administrator for the timesheet system including monthly reconciliation.

Posting all sales made and reconciling weekly to money received into the bank.

Reconciliation of FDMS, AMEX cash accounts.

Download of Monthly Barclaycard statement and csv file that is checked and uploaded for processing by cardholders.

Petty cash administration and reconciliation.

All UK currency bank reconciliations.

Cover for overseas and UK month end activities.

General support to Finance function.

Profile

A successful Trainee Accounts Assistant should have:

• A desire to work within Accountancy and Finance
• Ideally a background in a similar role or via a course such as AAT or Degree
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
