We are recruiting a CNC Turner Programmer for our client based in Washington, Tyne & Wear. The company manufacture high quality, bespoke machined components for a number of industries such as:

  • Renewables
  • Defence
  • Oil and Gas
  • Nuclear
  • Rail
  • Medical

Duties of the role:

  • Programme, set and operate a CNC Turning machine using Fanuc controls
  • Setting up tooling
  • Loading and unloading machines
  • Selecting correct tooling
  • Working with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining safe operation of machinery
  • Complete documentation and timesheets

Essential Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to program, set and operate jobs on the machine using Fanuc controls. You will be able to work to tight tolerances and read engineering drawings. You should be time served.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in off line programming is extremely advantageous.

Hours of work would be 7.00am - 5.15pm Monday - Thursday (39 hours across 4 days).
