Smart Teachers are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join a large primary school in Sudbury.

About the role
  • Teaching Assistants are required to join an 'Outstanding' school in Sudbury in September 2024
  • Teaching Assistants are required to join the schools on site SEN Unit, working acorss eith er KS1 or KS2
  • Teaching Assistants will be required to support inidividuals and small groups
  • Class sizes are typically no bigger than 10 and will work alongside a class teacher and at least one other TA
  • Full time role, hours 08:00-15:30pm

  • Mainstream school with their own on site ARP Unit
  • School caters for a diverse cohort of pupils
  • For the size of the school they have a very low level of staff turnover due to the positive and colloborative working environment
  • School located a short walk from Sudbury station and has an onsite car park
Requirements

To be considered for the role of Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Sudbury you will:

  • Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Hold an enhanced DBS
