R&D Technologist

Science Solutions are looking to recruit an R&D Technologist on behalf of one of our clients based in the Southwest of Lancashire.

As an R&D Technologist, you will be responsible in assisting the team in the manufacturing of glass for various applications.

To be considered for the role of R&D Technologist you must be degree educated in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or a similar scientific subject.

Role requirements

• Degree educated as a minimum in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or a similar scientific field.
• 3+ years industrial experience in an R&D environment.
• Any experience in the manufacturing of Glass is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in managing your own projects also highly desirable.

Role responsibilities

• Assist the team daily in the manufacturing of glass for various applications.
• Manage your own projects and workload daily whilst also assisting other members of the team in their own projects.
• Achieve manufacturing excellence whilst monitoring decarbonisation within the lab.
