Junior Sous Chef – contemporary restaurant - £32,000 + tips –
This contemporary restaurant is independently run and managed by experienced, hospitality professionals. Having re-opened following a major refurbishment they now require a talented Junior Sous Chef to join the team.
The emphasis here is on seasonal cooking using excellent British produce. Where possible they use only well sourced local ingredients, alongside their own foraging in the surrounding countryside. So, the ideal Junior Sous Chef will feel as passionately as they do about the provenance of their ingredients.

There is a team of 5 chefs preparing everything in house and the standards are very high. The successful Junior Sous Chef will be involved with the day to day running of the kitchen, designing menus, costing, stock control, ordering, training, mentoring, and developing the junior chefs.
They work a mixture of straight and split shifts and have Sunday evening, Monday, Tuesday, and a half day in the week off. Alongside a salary of £32,000 plus tips, there is a performance bonus and a retaining bonus every 6 months.
