Have you got experience in manufacturing NPI / NPD, of a mechanical/electronic design, ready to deliver industry-leading products within complex turnkey projects, in a newly created role that has arisen due to rapid growth, where you will lead in the development of new technologies, and have a high degree of autonomy within a niche globally leading company, which develops leading-edge technology?

Are you looking to lead projects from conception, through field trials to commercialisation, developing new products and technology for key players in the oil and gas industry, where you will be at the epicentre of development of new technology, working alongside the founders and senior engineers, who have introduced seminal products to the market?

On offer is the opportunity to work alongside a specialist company which designs and manufactures downhole logging and well-intervention instrumentation for the oil and gas, geothermal and transition energy sectors for a global client base. They provide one-of-a-kind solutions commercially available in the industry and primarily produce complex novel sensor technologies, high-pressure and temperature applications and high-powered electro-mechanical devices.

The Role:

• Responsible for producing technical documents, test reports and reviews and defining timelines, costs, and risks
• Troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Hands on qualification testing
• Assisting customers onsite with field trials
• Working across disciplinary teams and engineers to create clear customer documentation and products
• Use your knowledge of engineering and different materials and manufacturing technologies to aid in production
• Use project management tools and software proficiently

The Person:

• NPD / NPI project manager or engineer, or a strong background in R&D
• BA or similar in Engineering
