We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee key customer projects, ensuring successful coordination and completion within scope. The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to define project requirements, document processes, and manage project delivery effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:- Meet with customers and internal teams to agree on detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements for each project, ensuring clear and documented requirements for every engagement.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project delivery process.
- Coordinate with customers and internal development managers to plan the programme of works and associated logistics.
- Identify and manage any scope changes or project impediments, ensuring clear communication with the development and digital teams.
- Participate in Agile Project Development practices and contribute to post-project retrospectives and reviews to encourage process improvement.
- Escalate issues within the business as required, whether internal or with the customer.
- Identify and manage risks to project completion and success criteria, ensuring appropriate contingency plans and risk mitigation activities are in place.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong negotiation abilities.
- Organised with a keen sense of administrative strength.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to provide concise, accurate, and timely reporting.
- Awareness of software development practices.
- IT technical awareness.
