RotheramCarrington Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for an HR Administrator on a 3 month FTC for a leading service provider in their field. Based in the Wirral close to the M56 and M53. Office based Monday to Friday with a competitive salary, a great opportunity for someone immediately available with a passion for HR. Reporting directly into the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will play a key part in providing effective and comprehensive support to the HR function, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with managers and staff.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Liaise with the Managers on all current and future vacancies.
  • Manage and assist the HR Manager and other members of the Senior Management team in staff recruitment
  • Undertake daily checks on the recruitment inbox and all job applications.
  • Ensure all applications for posts within all departments are promptly and fairly processed.
  • Support the HR Manager in ensuring that new employees are monitored, assessed, and provided with appropriate assistance during the probationary period.
  • Ensure all general enquiries from the public, about employment are dealt with promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Post and manage vacancies on the website and external avenues.
  • To oversee the interview panels, ensuring that the panel members are the appropriate managers participating in the selection process.
  • Oversee and participate in the selection process in the majority of interviews as time permits.
  • When deemed necessary, support the HR Manager with disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Support as required the HR Manager and the Senior HR Officer with staff sickness absence queries, check SIP to ensure correct information has been recorded and provide guidance and support to the managers.
  • Undertake monthly HR Induction presentation and complete relevant paperwork with new staff.
  • Conduct exit interviews were appropriate to enable monitoring of staff retention.
  • Provide updated information regarding the status of new staff.
