Redline has a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Power Electronics Engineer based in Essex to work on a brand new project from cradle to grave.

Our client has a significant presence in various highly regulated industries operating across a wide range of different projects, including aerospace, defence, medical and communications. An innovator with exciting growth plans, due to a number of major project wins and significant investment, they are seeking a range of professional Contractors. The role will be suited to an experienced contractor who thrives on making an impact and who is able to take on a multitude of tasks in their role.

This is your chance to provide concept design on the power electronics side of a brand-new project the company is embarking on; they are looking for someone who is innovative and has excellent problem solving skills to really drive the success of the project.

This role has an indicative INSIDE IR35 determination therefore candidates will be required to operate via an Umbrella company.

The key skills required for the Contract Power Electronics Engineer based in Essex is:

- Experience with switch mode power supply

- Experience with concept design

- Experience with fault-finding

- Experience with power electronics between (270 V - 5 KV)

Due to the nature of the project the successful candidate needs to be able to obtain or currently have SC Clearance. If the successful candidate doesn't have current SC Clearance, they will start on BPSS so there is no delay in to the project.
