As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join them in a temporary-to-permanent hybrid part-time capacity.

Client Details

The temporary-to-permanent Part-Time Assistant Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting their finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a talented individual to gain valuable experience in a dynamic financial advisory environment while enjoying the flexibility of part-time hours.

Description

  1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  2. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  3. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to optimise financial efficiency.
  5. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance filings.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Profile

  • AAT level 3 qualified.
  • Previous experience in an accounting role preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
