Production Operative

212 Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a ProductionOperativeto join our clients busy team.

Previous experience of case/pallet making or carpentry skills would be advantageous although not essential as training can be provided. The successful candidate will ideallybe comfortable using a Cross saw,band saw and circular sawaswell as nail guns.

The role will involve:

• Receive and review cutting lists/drawings from the production office
• Ensure all materials and tools are correct prior to processing
• Complete "first off" checks prior to producing the required batch
• Check all dimensionsand record details as required
• Clean down tools and equipment as required to maximise tool life
• Transfer completed cases to storage/dispatch
• Ensure scrap material is kept to a minimum and it is disposed of correctly and safely

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30
• Friday 07:30-12:30
