Project Support Officer / PMO Administrator

Our prestigious Financial Services client have a requirement for a Project Support Officer to work within a major IT transformation programme to provide project administrative support to a small team of Project Managers, ensuring that all project governance, RAIDs and plans are up to date and on track. This Project Support Officer will also face into the client's central PMO as a representative of the programme ensuring that the client's project governance and controls are adhered to and managed by the programme.

Up to £300 per day - UMBRELLA ONLY

6 month initial contract (with scope for a long-term assignment)

Almost entirely Remote. Requirement to work from the client's offices in Worcestershire circa 1-2 days a month

Essential Experience needed:

  • Strong previous experience of undertaking Project Support Officer / PMO Administrator roles across their recent career
  • Experience of supporting major transformation projects, ideally with experience of major IT transformation projects / programmes
  • A strong all-round Project Support / PMO Administrative toolkit to include:
    • Project governance
    • RAID management
    • Ensuring project plans are up to date
    • More generalist Project administrative duties (diary management, meeting management etc.)
  • Strong experience of working with and supporting teams of Project Managers
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business
