RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with an independent organisation who are recruiting for a Specialist Adviser, within their Family Support Service Team.

This is a part-time role working 18 hours per week, working part of the multi disciplinary palliative care team.

The Specialist Adviser will provide a holistic, accessible and in-depth advice service, tailored to individual circumstances within the aims, policies and principles of the service and the Hospice to individuals, carers and families across South Worcestershire living with life threatening illness. 

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of advice work, client representation and managing a case load within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates should also have an awareness of the aims and principles of the Support Service and be willing to undertake the Generalist Advice Training Course.

Excellent communication skills and an understanding of issues affecting clients facing life limiting illness or bereavement are also essential.

The post holder will need to be able to travel independently throughout the county with current UK driving licence and access to vehicle.
