The Opportunity...Nigel Wright is working in partnership with a reputable travel organisation based in York who are seeking a Assistant Management Accountant to join their team for 6 month contract during an extremely busy time. Working as part of a small team but still part of a much bigger organisation offers fantastic opportunities to really demonstrate your skill set and really make a difference.Assistant Management Accountant - 6 month Fixed Term ContractImmediate startFull Time Hours – 35hrs per week £30,000-£34,000 (depending on experience)Hybrid Working The Job...Providing support the Management Accountant you will be assisting ensuring the integrity of financial data. Assisting in financial accounting and reporting for various departments of the organisation. Some of the daily duties include:

Calculating prepayments
Assisting with month end accounts
Carrying out profit and loss analysis and comparing against budgets
Maintaining and supporting accruals analysis
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Reporting on periodic numbers

What we are looking for...This position would suit someone with experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or even a Management Accountant who can start immediately and a Fixed Term Contract would suit at the moment.

Will need high attention to detail
Must be computer literate with excellent working knowledge of using MS Excel
Ability to work on their own initiative whilst still able to liaising with various team members and departments
Someone confident to work to competing and strict deadlines
