We are seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating, presenting and producing high-impact video content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and expands our audience across social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok; in line with RotaCloud’s tone of voice and brand identity and aligns with the overall marketing strategy.


 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Presenting, filming and editing various types of creative and engaging video content including (but not limited to) Youtube shorts, short-form explainer and informational videos, storytelling videos, customer interviews, blogs to cinematic videos and UGC/influencer style videos for social channels, YouTube and the website.
  • Developing engaging scripts tailored to each platform and audience demographics.
  • Owning and executing all social media video content from the ideation to production to execution stage.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop a production plan and schedule for content creation and adhere to the project timelines.
  • Analysing performance data to identify trends, optimise content strategies, and refine engagement tactics.
  • Engaging with viewers and followers on social media, responding to comments, answering questions, and fostering meaningful interactions.
  • Developing strategies to establish our presence on TikTok and integrate TikTok-specific content into the marketing plan.
  • Monitoring and analysing social media trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the curve and enhance brand differentiation.
  • Tracking and reporting on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns.
  • Taking ownership of the social content calendar and ensuring consistent and timely delivery across various platforms and aligning all activities with the overall marketing strategy.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in video content creation and social media marketing. 
  • Comfortable being on camera. 
  • Experience hosting a podcast/Youtube channel
  • Proficient in recording and editing video content for social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of video production principles such as lighting, framing, editing techniques etc. 
  • Track record of increasing followers, brand awareness and engagement across social media platforms.
  • Creative individual with a passion for storytelling through visuals and narratives.
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and a desire to stay up-to-date with latest developments.
  • Ability to craft compelling scripts and engaging social media content that resonates with SMBs.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.

Where you’ll be working

This is a hybrid role with a need to work from our open-plan office in the centre of historic York and the flexibility of working in your own home as agreed with your Line Manager.
