Urgently Hiring Lab Runner
$25/hour
2nd and 3rd shift available
Contract work: 1 month +
Responsibilities:
-Transport specimens, lab reports, and medical supplies between departments in a timely manner.
-Ensure all specimens are handled with care and delivered according to protocol.
-Maintain a log of all deliveries and ensure proper documentation is completed.
-Assist with the organization and inventory management of lab supplies.
-Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
-Provide support to laboratory staff as needed.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in a hospital or lab setting is required.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
-Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
-Knowledge of medical terminology and lab procedures is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and transport items throughout the facility
