My client, a private developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a new traditional build scheme in Orsett, Essex. (HA plus High End) This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for a new opportunity in a new & growing company where they will be able to step up to a SM

My clients are able to offer a competitive salary/package for an experienced No2 who has proven experience in looking after sub-contractors on a daily basis

Duties,

  • Assistant Site Manager reporting to a SM/PM
  • Inductions and toolbox talks
  • Responsible for H&S on site
  • RAMS
  • Material call offs
  • Chair subcontractor meetings in SM absence
  • Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
  • Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
  • Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • NHBC stage inspections
  • Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
  • Ensuring customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site

Qualifications,

  • Previous residential experience as a ASM or Trainee for a developer or main contractor (Housing)
  • CSCS,
  • First Aid
  • NHBC experience
  • Trade backgriound
