My client based in Colburn is looking for a temporary Finance Assistant who can start with immediate effect. The contract will be for approximately 3-4 months and is suitable for an experienced Finance Assistant who can hit the ground running.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coding and posting supplier invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Managing and maintaining purchase ledger
- Prepayments & Accruals
- Intercompany transfers
- Answering supplier emails/ calls
- Matching invoices from suppliers with purchase orders/ delivery notes
- Credit control duties
- Code and post credit card expenses to the purchase ledger on a timely basis
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to establish the weekly cash payment BACS run
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
Desirable qualities:
- Sage 50 experience
- Payroll experience
- Excellent organisational skills
