Ourclient near Exeter is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of the company's financial operations. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of finance, from day-to-day accounting tasks to strategic financial planning. As we transition this role from an outsourced function to an in-house position, the Finance Manager will have the opportunity to shape and optimize our financial processes to support our growth and sustainability goals.

Rsponsibilities

Manage day-to-day financial operations including data entry, invoicing, credit control, client billing, and bank reconciliation across multiple accounts.
Serve as the main point of contact for external accountants, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Prepare management reports and accounts to support business decision-making and financial performance analysis.
Oversee payroll processing and auto-enrolment pension administration.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organization, providing financial insights and support as needed in a small team environment.

Requires Skills/Experience

Proven experience in a similar finance role, preferably within a growing business environment.
AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
Working knowledge of Sage and Xero software for financial management.
Experience in the renewables industry is desirable.
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM would be advantageous.

The salary for this role ranges from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time office-based position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the mission of achieving carbon neutrality through innovative energy solutions.
