Sewell Wallis are partnering with a growing PE business on the outskirts of Harrogate who are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team.

This is a pivotal role within the business where you will be responsible for the finance operations, analysis and reporting of the Company, and a key link into Group functions.

Our client is looking for a driven and ambitious individual who is ideally newly qualified / fully qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA.

Working closely with the senior leadership team other key responsibilities will include:-

  • Producing monthly management accounts for stakeholders across the group
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting in the weekly trading reporting of commercial performance across the business
  • Variance analysis
  • Business partnering group functions
  • Accurate and timely reporting on actuals vs forecast
  • Balance sheet control, ensuring the delivery of accurate monthly accounts
  • Cash flow management
  • Supporting the external audit and year-end reporting cycle

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant / newly qualified, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to analyse complex data
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
