Job Title Catering Operations Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Scotland
I am super excited to be working with this established sporting organisation who are currently looking for a Catering Operations Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the planning, logistics and delivery of one of their largest events, as well as supporting other events throughout the year.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on planning and delivery of catering operations
- Creation and design of operational layouts for onsite facilities and structures
- Appointment of caterers and management of tender processes
- Manage all staffing requirements including induction and training
- Responsible for catering requirements and menu design
- Management of external suppliers and contractors
- Health and safety and compliance
- Budget management
- Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Skills and Experience:
- Background of working in major event catering
- Greenfield event experience preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage and inspire the team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt as required
- Previous experience of delivering major events/projects to deadline
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
