Walker Cole International is searching for Bioprocessing Manufacturing Manager to join a Biotechnology manufacturing client in Oxfordshire. As the Bioprocessing Manufacturing Manager you will lead a team of Manufacturing Scientist focused on USP/DSP clinical and commercial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities as the Bioprocessing Manufacturing Manager:
- Line management of Manufacturing Scientists focused on downstream bioprocessing manufacturing.
- Ensure all manufacturing activity is compliant with GMP and GDP regulations.
- Ensure GMP compliant manufactured product is delivered on time.
- As the Bioprocessing Manufacturing Manager, you will ensure all quality, EHS and operational excellence training is delivered across the department.
- Play a lead role in ensure high standards and a continuous improvement mindset are being followed on day-to-day basis.
Key Requirements for the Bioprocessing Manufacturing Manager:
- Degree educated in Life Sciences or Engineering. Masters or PhD would be advantageous
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cell therapy or gene therapy.
- Strong background in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Previous experience of managing in pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential
