A Maintenance Manager is required to oversee the day-to-day & hands-on maintenance of an internationally recognised Art Gallery, by coordinating maintenance, building and managing relationships with contractors, as well carry out small repairs and maintenance jobs.

This role is based in London where the Maintenance Manager will operate on a hybrid basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including exhibition spaces, public areas, offices, storage areas, and visitor amenities. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently;
  • Ensure regular emergency equipment checks including fire and intruder alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are completed
  • Provide out of hours support during special events, as required
  • Lighting checks prior to public opening hours of commercial buildings
  • Respond to immediate building requirements whilst buildings are in use
  • Set maintenance protocols for buildings to adopt and be managed individually
  • Collaborate with the technical team to support the implementation of technical services for exhibitions, events, and daily gallery operations. Ensure that technical equipment and infrastructure are functioning optimally and comply with safety regulations
