Our reputable client is looking for an experienced Business Development Director join their business in this standalone role. The successful Business Development Director will work closely with the MD and will be responsible for sourcing and securing new business through their existing channel partners and, as well as through direct market sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a successful and established consultative sales career in the services industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Director will formulate, execute, and refine as needed the sales strategy
  • Present to C-Suite decision makers
  • Generating and qualifying sales leads, meeting with prospects, and closing opportunities to achieve assigned sales goals
  • Preparing, submitting, and presenting proposals
  • Collaborate with marketing to increase new customer acquisition and conversion
  • Research, create, develop targeted prospect lists for outbound activity

Key skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable sales success using a consultative sales approach
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions to Fortune 500 clients
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in B2B sales
  • The Business Development Director will be able to manage long and complex sales processes
