About the Role: As an SEN teacher for ASD secondary students, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons specifically designed for students with ASD
- Collaborating with support staff and professionals to implement effective interventions
- Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Setting and updating individualised targets for students with ASD
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to SEN education
Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience working with students with ASD, preferably at the secondary level
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory professional references
- A comprehensive CV detailing your relevant experience
