This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at JP's Kitchen located in Maldon, Essex.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head chef in running the kitchen and multiple teams, ordering supplies, maintaining strict food hygiene standards.
The Sous Chef will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.Â
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Experience in menu planning and recipe development
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
