The firm specialises in offering a wide array of accounting and financial services to a diverse client base. Description

· Leading accounts, management accounts, and other client assignments

· Completion of accounts planning

· Liaison with clients on organisation of the work and work requirements, and being part of the client relationship team

· Oversee and manage the on the job accounts team on a job by job basis

· Review accounts teams work

· Deal with completion section of accounts files

· Report to manager and partner

· Be involved in other ad hoc advisory and support assignments for clients

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• Be commercially minded and analytical when reviewing and preparing figures and information
• Experience of working in an accountancy practice and have experience of running accounts jobs.
• Strong Microsoft office suite skills especially Excel
• Have knowledge and experience of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
• Able to respond well to balancing work loads.
• Able to communicate well and have strong client facing skills.
• Work well in a team and with a wide range of people.
• Organised and methodical.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Proactive and able to take the initiative.
• Have the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues..
• Good business awareness.
• Able to work within a budget.
